Despite a cloudy day inΒ ManchesterΒ on Saturday, the pair pulled out all the stops forΒ their special dayΒ at at stunning city centre landmark.

A total of 150 white padded seats were laid out on the flagstones while staff worked hard to instal a detailed floral altar.

After their nuptials at the Gothic cathedral, they headed the short distance to The Lowry hotel in Salford for the wedding breakfast and reception.

Jack’s on-screen sister Tina O’Brien, who plays Sarah Platt, looked elegant in a summery blue dress as she arrived for the big day.

Meanwhile his on-screen nice Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, opted for a summery yellow floor-grazing frock.

Also in attendance were Jack’s former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes and his co-star Alan Halsall, who was joined by new girlfriend Ellie Dolan.

WONDERFUL WEDDING

A source previously exclusively toldΒ The SunΒ of the pair’s plans for aΒ truly memorable day.

They said: β€œJack andΒ HanniΒ are having their big white wedding at Manchester Cathedral on Saturday.

β€œThey have gone all out to make sure it’s their dream day and there has been no expensed spared.

β€œIt’s a very grand setting getting wed at the cathedral, and it is packed with guests, including many of Jack’s Corrie co-stars.

β€œThey have hired top Manchester security service Capricorn to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day and after the ceremony, everyone will head to the five-star Lowry hotel for aΒ lavish after party.”

Jack, 37, who plays David Platt in theΒ ITVΒ soap, met Hanni, 35, when she worked behind the scenes on the show.

HeΒ proposed on a romantic safari breakΒ last year.

CASHING IN

Jack, who wonΒ CelebrityΒ Big BrotherΒ in April this year, revealed he had taken part in the reality show in order to pay for the nuptials – and hadn’t expected to win.

After years of rejecting the idea of realityΒ Β TV, Jack finally decided to take the plunge after being offered an impressive pay cheque.

An insider at the time said: β€œJack and Hanni are pulling out all the stops for their big day.

β€œThey are incredibly in love and want their day to really represent them as they celebrate with friends and family.

The beloved British soap has been captivating audiences for decades.

β€œHanni is known for being very stylish and they’ve not skimped on things for the wedding to make sure it’s all perfect.”

Earlier this year, Hanni, an influencer, shared a snapshot of what the couple will be sharing with their nearest and dearest on their wedding.

She wrote: β€œSeven incredible years of memories with you.

β€œHere’s to four weeks of feeling excited, nervous, overwhelmed, emotional, in love and everything else that comes with being a bride.

β€œI can’t wait to marry you.”

Hanni – who first met Jack while she was working on Corrie – previously told fans they had set their wedding date, writing: β€œ26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!”

Jack commented: β€œIt’s going to be epic.”
