Emmerdale has announced that the Dingle family will take center stage in a unique set of episodes later this autumn. The long-running soap will deviate from its usual format to deliver a major new plot involving all the key Dingle family members.

Producer Laura Shaw shared this exciting news during a press event with Digital Spy and other media outlets. Shaw explained, “We know the Dingles are one of our favorite families in soap, and we’re planning something special with them coming up. Pretty much all the Dingles will be involved, and the episodes have been filmed in a slightly different way from our usual style. We’ve played with the format a bit.”

She added, “There are going to be lots of secrets revealed, and everyone involved in the filming has been absolutely raving about it. Having seen the final episodes myself last week, I think it’s going to be very memorable.”

Further details about the special week of episodes and the mysterious new storyline will be revealed later this month. Fans have already witnessed plenty of drama involving the Dingles recently. Cain Dingle and his half-brother Caleb Milligan are currently keeping a mystery person captive at Wylie’s Farm.
