Well, isn’t that convenient! Days of Our Lives’ Philip is looking to get back in Xander’s good graces by obtaining the sepsis cure for Bo… just as high-school classmate Kevin Lambert, who works for Dr. Russell — aka the miracle drug’s creator — is looking for a new job. Will one hand wash the other, so to speak? Count on it.

But who the heck is this Kevin Lambert? The character was introduced on Days of Our Lives back in 2001 as a nerdy brainiac teenager. (Because they never seem to let brainiacs be sexy.) He got caught up in Mimi Lockhart and Jan Spears’ nasty plot to embarrass Chloe Lane but eventually came into his own and started dating Mimi.

Kevin turned up again in 2019 in Days of Our Lives’ digital spinoff, Last Blast Reunion. Back then, it was revealed that he had reopened the .Com Café in New York. At that point, Chadwick Hopson was playing the part. But he was already the second Kevin recast. Brett Lawrence originated the role in 2001 and was replaced that same year by Robert Benvenisti.
