According to the latest Days Promo, one family’s history is about to change forever. Marlena (Deidre Hall) has been determined for months to track down John; she even ventured to Estonia with Steve (Stephen Nichols) to uncover any leads. Although they didn’t locate him, Marlena has returned to Salem, and the ISA is diligently working to find John’s whereabouts.
Shane recently called Marlena with a promising update — they have a lead, and she is overjoyed. However, her happiness will be short-lived. In Friday’s episode, Marlena and Susan (Stacy Haiduk) have breakfast, only to have their moment interrupted by EJ (Dan Feuerriegel).
In one scene, Marlena’s joy peaks as she enthusiastically declares after a phone call, “They found him!” Yet, Susan is about to experience a chilling premonition as she ominously remarks, “It feels like someone just walked over my grave.”
Uncovering the Mystery
Elsewhere, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Steve, and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) work to uncover a mystery. With Dr. Russell (Michael Dietz) out of town attending a conference, they thought it would be the perfect time to break into his lab and steal that drug.
However, when they got there, they discovered that someone beat them to it.
Of course, they’ll want to know who that someone was. They are desperate to get their hands on the drug, as it could save a dying Bo’s (Peter Reckell) life.
Panic Mode for Philip and Kevin
As for Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Kevin (Chadwick Hopson), Days spoilers reveal the two are in panic mode in Friday’s episode. Their plan to steal a dose of the drug hit one snag after the other. First, it was Steve and Shawn; now it’s Dr. Russell who is leaving that conference early and headed back to Salem, which means Kevin has to act fast. Can he?
Xander Be Honest
Days spoilers for the May 16 episode also tease that Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) demands Xander (Paul Telfer) to be honest. Does this have anything to do with his desire to purchase the hospital? Tune in to see how things play out.
