The 32 year old actress graced the soap for seven years before leaving in 2017, only to make a permanent return in 2023.

Over the years, Lauren has been at the heart of many storylines, and now she’s set to take centre stage with her newborn son Jimmy, who will be diagnosed with a severe visual impairment in upcoming episodes.

While we’ve become quite familiar with Lauren over the years, what do we know about Jacqueline when she steps away from Albert Square?

Let’s delve into the actress’ life off-screen…

Jacqueline’s early years

Born on 29 October 1992 in Bexley, Jacqueline has one older sister, Katrina, and two older brothers who tragically passed away in infancy, reports Plymouth Live.

Before attending the Royal Academy of Music in London, Jacqueline honed her acting skills at D&B Theatre School in Bromley.

She’s not the only one in her family with a knack for acting, as her cousin, Megan Jossa, is also an actress. Megan previously starred in EastEnders as Courtney Mitchell, the daughter of Grant and Tiffany Mitchell.

Jacqueline is wedded to Dan Osborne. The pair exchanged vows in 2017 in a grand ceremony held at a country manor house in Cheshire.

Dan, 33, is known for his stint on ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex. In 2018, he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, and he’s also been seen on Splash! and Celebrity Road Trip: Lost in Transylvania.

In 2025, it was reported that Jacqueline and Dan had decided to go their separate ways. The reason behind their split remains a mystery as neither of them has commented on the reports.

How many children does Jacqueline have?

Jacqueline is a proud mum to two lovely daughters, Ella and Mia, whom she shares with her husband, Dan. Ella, their first child, was born in 2015, followed by Mia in 2018.

The EastEnders star also plays a stepmum role to Dan’s son Teddy, 11, from his previous relationship with Megan Tomlin.

Jacqueline’s second career

When she’s not on Albert Square, Jacqueline runs her own performing arts academy, the Jac Jossa Academy, based in Bexleyheath. The academy offers a variety of classes, including singing and dancing.

The Jac Jossa Academy also houses JJA Management, a casting agency for children specialising in musical theatre, TV, and film, catering to those aged between five and 14.

Moreover, Jacqueline is the brains behind Nixie, a skin and hair brand that prides itself on being cruelty-free and natural. The brand promises to provide “formulated oils to help rejuvenate your natural beauty”.
