The confirmed returning cast members for Chicago Fire Season 14 are:

  1. Taylor Kinney as Lieutenant Kelly Severide: Kinney, who has been a central figure since the show’s inception, has signed a new deal to continue his role. His return was particularly anticipated after his temporary absence in Season 11.
  2. Miranda Rae Mayo as Lieutenant Stella Kidd: Mayo will also be back, continuing her role as Stella Kidd, one-half of the beloved “Sevaride” couple. Her character also received big news in the Season 13 finale, setting up new storylines.
  3. Dermot Mulroney as Chief Dominick “Dom” Pascal: Mulroney, who joined in Season 13 as the new Battalion Chief at Firehouse 51, has signed a new contract to return. His character quickly established himself as a significant presence, and his continued role confirms he will remain a key leader at the firehouse.Chicago Fire Season 13 Losing 2 Major Characters Makes Its Season 14 Renewal Less Exciting

These confirmations mean that Firehouse 51 will maintain its core leadership and a fan-favorite couple, ensuring continuity for many ongoing storylines.

It’s also worth noting that while these three are confirmed, other long-standing cast members like David Eigenberg (Christopher Herrmann), Christian Stolte (Mouch), Joe Minoso (Joe Cruz), and Hanako Greensmith (Violet Mikami) are generally expected to return, though specific new deals for all of them haven’t been as widely publicized.

However, it has been confirmed that Jake Lockett (Sam Carver) and Daniel Kyri (Darren Ritter) will not be returning as series regulars in Season 14. Showrunner Andrea Newman has expressed hope that they might return in some capacity for guest appearances to provide closure to their storylines.
