B&B SPOILERS: NICK DESERVES BETTER THAN BEING BROOKE’S JEALOUSY PAWN IN RIDGE GAMES
Bold and the Beautiful fans are witnessing something truly stomach-churning unfold in Los Angeles. Nick Marone has returned with pure intentions — trying to help Brooke Logan break free from her decades-long toxic cycle with Ridge Forrester. His reward? Being set up as a pawn in the most manipulative scheme we’ve seen in years.
Let’s get one thing straight. This isn’t romance. This is manipulation at its worst.
THE KISS THAT STARTED IT ALL
Nick didn’t just show up out of nowhere. The man came back to Los Angeles with a mission — to be Brooke’s real destiny, the one who doesn’t bounce between two women like a ping-pong ball. On June 17, he planted a passionate kiss on Brooke right there at Forrester Creations, telling her he could be everything Ridge never was.
And of course, who walked in at that exact moment? Ridge. Because timing in soap land is always impeccable.
Ridge’s reaction was predictable as sunrise. He called Nick a “tool” while running to Taylor Hayes to whine about it. The man who’s spent decades waffling between two women suddenly gets territorial the second another man shows interest in Brooke? Please.
KATIE’S TOXIC ADVICE IS THE REAL PROBLEM
But here’s where things get truly disgusting. Katie Logan — supposedly the sensible Logan sister — is actively encouraging Brooke to USE Nick to make Ridge jealous.
Let that sink in.
Katie is literally telling her sister to manipulate a good man’s feelings as a strategic move. What happened to sisterly advice like “move on and find someone who chooses only you”? Or “stop this toxic pattern that’s been destroying you for decades”?
No, instead we get: “Use him to make Ridge jealous!”
How is this grown woman behavior? These people are supposed to be adults running a fashion empire, not teenagers passing notes in study hall. Nick is a human being with feelings, not a prop in Brooke’s never-ending Ridge drama.
THE PATTERN EVERYONE REFUSES TO SEE
Here’s what kills me about this whole situation. We ALL know how this plays out:
- Ridge sees Brooke with another man
- Ridge gets jealous and suddenly realizes he “can’t live without her”
- Ridge wins Brooke back with grand declarations
- Ridge stays for approximately five minutes
- Something goes wrong and Ridge runs back to Taylor
- Rinse and repeat for the next 30 years
It’s not rocket science, people! The man has ONE move and he’s been using it since the ’80s.
But sure, let’s drag innocent Nick into this mess. Let’s use him as bait to trigger Ridge’s predictable jealousy response. Because that’s definitely the sign of a healthy, mature relationship worth fighting for, right?
NICK CAME BACK FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Nick genuinely wants to help Brooke. Actor Jack Wagner revealed that his character returned specifically to “wake Brooke up from this toxic pattern with Ridge.”
The man is trying to offer her a real future. A relationship where she’s the only woman. Where she doesn’t have to wonder if her husband is dreaming about his ex-wife. Where she doesn’t have to compete with anyone for his attention.
And how does Brooke plan to repay this genuine care and concern? By using him as a manipulation tool to get Ridge’s attention.
It’s beyond gross.
THE REAL VICTIMS IN THIS MESS
Let’s talk about who really loses here. Nick is about to get his heart stomped on AGAIN. Remember, this isn’t his first rodeo with Brooke. They were married from 2006-2007. They share a son, Jack Marone. Their relationship had real depth and meaning.
But when push came to shove, Brooke went running back to Ridge. Just like she always does. Just like she always will if this manipulation scheme works.
Nick deserves someone who chooses HIM. Not someone who sees him as a convenient way to make another man jealous. Not someone who’ll drop him the second Ridge crooks his finger.
WHERE ARE THE BROOKE FANS WHO WANT BETTER FOR HER?
This is what I don’t understand. True Brooke fans should be BEGGING her to move on from Ridge. They should want her to find real, lasting happiness with someone who puts her first. Someone who doesn’t have a decades-long pattern of leaving her for another woman.
But no. They’re worried that if Brooke actually grows up and moves on, “crazy” “attempted murderer” Taylor might get five minutes of peace with Ridge.
So what? Let Taylor “win” if that’s how they see it. Let her deal with Ridge’s waffling and emotional unavailability. Let her wonder when he’ll run back to Brooke at the first sign of trouble.
Meanwhile, Brooke could be building something real with Nick. Something based on mutual respect and genuine feelings, not jealousy games and manipulation.
THIS ISN’T HOW ADULTS HANDLE RELATIONSHIPS
The most frustrating part? These are supposed to be mature adults. Brooke has adult children. She runs a successful business. She’s been through decades of relationship drama.
And THIS is her solution? Using an innocent person to trigger her on-again-off-again boyfriend’s jealousy?
A truly good person wouldn’t hurt someone else just to get their “destiny’s” attention. A mature woman would recognize that if you need to play games to keep a man interested, maybe he’s not worth keeping.
But here we are, watching Katie encourage this manipulation while Nick walks blindly into the trap, genuinely believing he might have a chance at happiness with Brooke.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IS PREDICTABLE AND PATHETIC
We all know where this is heading. Ridge will see Brooke with Nick a few more times. He’ll get increasingly jealous. He’ll make some grand gesture or declaration of love. Brooke will melt like she always does.
Nick will be left heartbroken and used. Taylor will be pushed aside again. And in a few months, we’ll be right back here when Ridge decides he needs “space” or “time to think” or whatever excuse he uses this time.
The cycle continues. The pattern repeats. And good people like Nick get crushed in the process.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO WARN NICK
If anyone in Los Angeles has a conscience, they need to pull Nick aside and tell him what’s really happening. The man deserves to know he’s being set up as a pawn in Brooke and Ridge’s endless drama.
He came back trying to be a hero, trying to save Brooke from herself. Instead, he’s about to become collateral damage in a manipulation scheme that would make teenagers cringe.
Nick deserves better. He deserves someone who wants HIM, not someone who’s using him to get another man’s attention. He deserves honesty, not manipulation. He deserves love, not to be a tool in someone else’s jealousy games.
But this is Bold and the Beautiful, where good people get used and toxic patterns get rewarded. Where manipulation is called “fighting for love” and using innocent people is considered a valid strategy.
It’s disgusting. It’s wrong. And Nick deserves so much better than what’s about to happen to him.
