What to expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

With Liam’s (Scott Clifton) tumor story and Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) lunatic story both drawing to a close together (for now), it’s time to move on to what B&B does best — location shoots in which Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) tries to convince Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) that he is her destiny.

While Taylor (Rebecca Budig) is trying not to show her alarm at Brooke accompanying Eric and Ridge on their upcoming trip to Italy, Brooke thinks this may be a good opportunity to snag Ridge. And Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) thinks this is his chance to snag Brooke. He already asked her to travel with him to Italy and just see Ridge and Eric for business meetings, but Brooke balked at the idea.

So, Nick returns to the design office to once again pour on the charm and see if Brooke has changed her mind. Brooke seems breathless whenever Nick is around, so he just may get her way. This Italy trip might turn out much differently than Brooke has planned.

Eric’s big plans

It might also turn out differently from what Eric (John McCook) has planned. He was the one who insisted that Brooke accompany them on the trip, and it’s clear he has an ulterior motive. He already tried to reunite Brooke and Ridge at the fashion show a few months back, but Italy is an even better idea.

Eric is all in on TeamBridge, despite feeling affection for Taylor. He just believes in destiny for Brooke and Ridge almost as much as Brooke does. To that end, Eric gives an impassioned speech about life and love, as he confirms that the Italy trip is still happening as planned.

After his second chance at life, Eric is more determined than ever not to see the people he loves waste any more time. Does Liam’s near brush with death make Eric even more focused on living each moment to the fullest, like Eric has been doing with Donna (Jennifer Gareis)? Will Ridge heed his dad’s words?
