Gabby Thomas is concealing a mystery on Emmerdale, with fresh episodes dropping hints following a beloved character’s comeback to the programme. Actress Rosie Bentham, who portrays Gabby, has now dropped clues about what her character is keeping under wraps.

Bernice Blackstock, Gabby’s mother, staged her dramatic return this week, and it quickly became apparent she was privy to certain information. She was frantic, trying to prevent her daughter from tying the knot with Vinny Dingle on their wedding day, insisting she had valid reasons why the ceremony shouldn’t proceed.

Gabby shot her a peculiar glance, as though both women were harbouring something, even after Gabby paid Vinny a visit and performed a touching act.

With Vinny concealing his own secrets, Monday’s instalment concluded with the character making his way to the police station, seemingly to report his assailant Mike.

But could this prompt Vinny to come clean to Gabby about what he’s been hiding for months?

Regarding Gabby, actress Rosie has revealed details about the secret her character is guarding and her frantic efforts to keep it buried, reports the Mirror.

She also weighed in on whether Gabby and Vinny belong together, suggesting there were indicators they were “on different paths”.

Rosie revealed: “I think the audience might clock on to this because when I’m reading the scripts and when I’m watching it, I think it’s obvious that the two of them are on very different paths. Their headspace are in different areas.

“Gabby’s so full speed ahead since she got back from Portugal, she’s very full-on with him, very touchy-feely, smothering him. Vinny showing quite clear signs of a man that’s struggling but Gabby’s got her little blinkers on and she’s just like ‘Wedding, wedding, wedding, me, me, me.'”

Whilst she remained tight-lipped about whether the couple actually make it down the aisle, she hinted that hidden truths might stay buried. Without revealing what Gabby is concealing, she suggested their deceptions need to surface and be addressed.

Rosie explained: “Whether they get married or not I think there’s a lot that needs delving into, and some secrets that need to come out and need to be talked about. Whether they try to sweep things under the carpet or address it there and then, I hope Gabby gets her happy ever after.”

Fans will witness the nuptials unfold this week, with further revelations about the pair’s turmoil set to emerge.
