Coronation Street star Kyran Bowes, who plays Jack Webster on the soap was praised by his co-stars after he shared some big news. The actor has grown up on the screen having joined the ITV show in 2016, taking over the role from twins Jaxon and Maddox Beswick.

His on-screen birth was portrayed by twins Alex and Ellis Williamson. Fans of the soap will be aware that Jack is the teenage son of mechanic Kevin Webster and tragic Molly Dobbs, who died in the Weatherfield tram disaster.

Jack has had an eventful young life on the cobbles, including a brush with death after battling sepsis which resulted in a life-saving surgery to have his leg amputated, reports Manchester Evening News.

But away from his acting career, Kyran’s latest social media update revealed his achievements off the screen.
Taking to Instagram during A-Levels results day last week, the soap star shared: “The results are in….
“I am incredibly proud to say I received a Distinction Star, Distinction, Distinction in my Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development Course.
“I have always enjoyed sports in my spare time, playing in football matches, refereeing at weekends for children’s matches, helping out at sports clubs in the school holidays as well as my filming and I have worked really hard for this so I’m super proud of myself.

“Thank you to my tutors, friends and family who have supported me all the way.”

And his Corrie pals were quick to show their love and support.
Toyah Battersby actress Georgia Taylor said: “Oh well done, love!!” Vicky Myers, who plays DS Lisa Swain, replied: “Fantastic news! Congratulations.” Leanne Battersby star Jane Danson wrote: “Congratulations darling! Fab news!”
Joe Duttine, who stars as Tim Metcalfe, commented: “Well done Kyran.” Sam Blakeman actor Jude Riordan posted: “Congrats Kyran.” Amy Barlow star Elle Mulvaney added: “Well done Kyran!”

Kyran later took to X (formerly known as Twitter), to thanks those who sent messages. He said: “Thank you so much to everybody that has sent me messages the last few days about my exam results! It means alot.”
In other Corrie news, an ex member of the beloved cast is to appear on the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity.

Adam Hussain, who plays Aadi Alahan, has been a fixture on the cobbles since his debut in 2006, alongside his twin sister Asha (Tanisha Gorey).
Originally portrayed by Zennon Ditchett, Adam took over the role in 2020 – and it’s safe to say Aadi’s been embroiled in some serious drama.
Recently the character inadvertently spiked Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) at a party.

Fans have been bracing for Aadi’s exit since April, when actor Adam Hussain announced his departure from the ITV soap.
