EastEnders spoilers follow for Thursday’s episode (28 August), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has confirmed the whereabouts of both Tommy Moon and Zoe Slater as next week’s huge episodes are set up.
Tommy hasn’t been seen since he stormed out of a tense confrontation with Kat – though viewers saw him break down in tears in the park and reach out to his sister Zoe.
Meanwhile, with Kat left questioning her abilities as a mother, Alfie couldn’t keep the truth from her any longer and finally revealed that he and Stacey had secretly been helping her estranged daughter since June.
As Alfie explained the truth about Zoe in today’s episode, Kat’s first reaction wasn’t anger but desperate curiosity, as she asked him what her child looked like after so many years.

Rage soon set in though, and Kat screamed at her husband for stopping her from seeing her daughter. She also reminded Alfie that she’d warned him that their relationship would be over if he lied again.
Outside, Kat made her feelings towards Stacey clear and declared that she was done with her entire family. But Jean made her see that Alfie and Stacey were only ever trying to do right by her and Zoe.
In a hugely emotional performance by Jessie Wallace, Kat explained to Jean about the gradual breakdown of her relationship with Zoe and said that she wants to help her daughter in whatever way possible.

Later, Alfie cautiously flagged to Kat that he couldn’t find Tommy anywhere, though she thankfully agreed that they would sort out this latest issue together.
The Slaters grew increasingly worried about Tommy, having looked all around the Square and even checked with Lynne and Little Mo.
Kat reached breaking point and despaired that she now had two missing children, and Alfie vowed to bring them both home to her.

But as the Slaters feared for Tommy, viewers then saw the teen arrive at an estate, where he knocked on the door of a flat and found Zoe – with the pair meeting for the very first time.
Zoe invited Tommy inside – but how will he manage to coax her back to Albert Square?
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
