Coronation Street has revealed who will discover Abi and Carl Webster’s fling as the storyline is set to take a dramatic turn.
The pair have been having an affair for a few weeks as they finally acted on their feelings, though Carl threw a spanner in the works as he slept with James Bailey while Abi was on holiday.

Whilst her husband, and Carl’s half-brother, Kevin remained unaware of his wife’s betrayal, Tracy Barlow discovered the fact a while ago, though she pledged to remain silent if she received some money.
Next week’s scenes will see the storyline take a huge turn as Abi finally breaks up with Kevin, though she stops short of telling the full truth. Either way, Kevin suspects that she’s in a relationship with Carl, but doesn’t have any proof.

In a candid conversation with Tyrone Dobbs, who remains in recovery after he was hit by a speeding Carl, Kevin laments over the breakdown of his marriage. Tyrone, meanwhile, is angry at the fact that the police are no closer to solving his case.

Abi continues her relationship with Carl in the confines of a hotel room, and admits that she wants to move away from Weatherfield in order to live freely. Carl, however, jokingly bats away the suggestion of moving elsewhere.
Later on, the pair get a shock as Carl’s half-sister Debbie pays a visit and discovers their romance – will the lovers be able to come up with an excuse? Or will their secret now become public knowledge in Weatherfield?

With Debbie discovering the truth, actor Sue Devaney recently shared how her character would react to the shock, teasing: “It’s not just having an affair with somebody in the street; it’s having an affair with the brother – that’s heavy.
“How’s Debbie going to find that? I think she’ll do some arguing and some shouting. I don’t think she’s going to take that lying down, knowing Debbie!” added the actor, who will depart the ITV soap in 2027.
