The policeman is desperate to get away with a near fatal shooting
EastEnders fans are saying that they’ve ‘worked out’ what will be Jack Branning’s ‘undoing’ after a Zoe and Kat Slater hostage twist.
The brother of Max Branning has been going down a dark route in recent weeks after he and Ravi Gulati accidentally shot Zoe.
Initially trying to get away with framing Ravi, Jack’s plan was turned on its head when the drug dealer informed him that if he didn’t pay him £100,000 he’d tell his police colleagues everything.

Since being shot, Zoe has been worried that it was a targeted attack by Greg Dolan, the private investigator she hit with a lampshade earlier in the year when he tried to assault her.
On Wednesday (September 17), Zoe and Stacey Slater headed to Dolan’s place where they learned he was still alive. Things escalated to the point where the cousins had to flee back to Walford.
Deciding to tell Kat everything, the pair were stunned to find that Kat Slater was being held hostage by Greg in the Queen Vic.

In scenes aired on Thursday (September 18), Zoe and Stacey panicked as Dolan demanded money in exchange for Kat’s safety. Things got even worse when Kat’s son Tommy stumbled onto the scene.
Dolan, who held Kat at knife point at one point, revealed to the Slaters that Zoe contacted her for help finding the son she gave birth to in 2006.
On a night that marked 25 years of the Slaters in Albert Square, Kat managed to knock Dolan unconscious with a cricket back when he turned violent towards Zoe and Stacey.
Making their way to the Queen Vic after hearing Tommy’s screams, Jack and Ravi were stunned to hear Zoe claim Dolan is the one who shot him.
Deciding to plant the gun on Dolan while he was unconscious, Jack and Ravi now appear to have gotten away with the shooting.
However, fans on the EastEnders Reddit page aren’t convinced that they’re over the hill just yet after Jack’s colleague DS Spencer told him she ‘didn’t expect’ to solve the crime so quickly.
