Ever since the news broke that Ryan Paevey is returning to General Hospital, everyone has been anxiously awaiting his arrival to Port Charles. Now, GH has revealed when to expect to see Paevey on your screens.

Ryan Paevey Returns to Port Charles

Paevey became a fan favorite on GH when he played Nathan from 2014-2018. Nathan had several connections in Port Charles, including being the son of Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and brother of Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), a detective at the PCPD, and marrying Maxie (Kirsten Storms).

Paevey’s return has sparked a lot of theories about who exactly the actor will be playing this time around. While Nathan died in 2018 after being shot by Faison (Anders Hove), this would be far from the first person to return from the dead on GH. Other fan theories have circled around that Paevey may be playing Peter, who was previously played by Wes Ramsey, and may be Britt’s secret boss.

In a video on Instagram, GH announced Paevey’s return date as Friday, September 19 with the help of Finola Hughes (Anna) and Paevey himself.

In the video, Hughes runs into Paevey at the studio and wonders what he’s doing there. She notes she thought he left, and he assured her he came back. The actress goes on to ask when he’s back, to which Paevey responds, “Friday.” Of course, when Hughes asks who he’s playing, Paevey simply says, “I can’t tell you that… it’s a secret.”
