Could things take a deadly turn?

As she couldn’t confirm whether she’d killed him or not, Zoe has been living in a state of paranoia ever since. She was convinced that he, or someone connected to him, had shot her. Tonight’s episode began with Stacey trying to get Zoe to go through with her plan of scoping out Greg’s place to see if he survived the attack.

“She told me what she did to you, and I know what you did to her and all. Just stay away from her, all right?” she said.
But Greg spun it like Zoe offered him more than she was letting on.
Stacey quickly got back in the car, but Greg shouted after them, demanding money and screaming at them.

Back in Walford, Stacey apologised for taking Zoe there but suggested they go to the police… or at least to Jack Branning (who they’re yet to find out was behind the shooting).
Zoe stopped her, stating “there are things you don’t know”, but didn’t mention the baby. She threatened that she’d deny everything to the police and make Stacey look “unhinged”.
An annoyed Stacey went to The Vic to reveal the day’s events to Kat, with Zoe following behind, desperate for her to stop.
