Emmerdale viewers think they worked out what happened to Aaron after he was pulled off a cliff and it’s not good news

Emmerdale fans have been left fearing Aaron Dingle (played by Danny Miller) will have amnesia after he was pulled off a cliff by his husband John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

The twisted paramedic, who arrived in the Dales last year as the estranger half-brother of Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), has killed Nate Robinson and then framed troubled patient Owen for his murder.

John has also been keeping Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) locked-up in an underground bunker after shooting him with a bow and arrow some weeks ago. After finding out Aaron and Robert have slept together, John drugged husband Aaron and tried to keep him isolated at his country cottage.

During Monday’s explosive episode of the ITV soap (8th September), Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) sensed something was off with his half-brother John and set out to find his ex-husband Aaron.

Meanwhile, at John’s country cottage, Aaron played along with his caring act, before making his escape to look for Mack.
Robert found John in the woods, and a physical fight ensued, leaving Robert unconscious on the ground.
John checked that Robert still alive as he fled the scene to find Aaron as the pair reunited near the edge of a gorge.
Aaron, who was still feeling dazed after being spiked by John, recalled the hatch he had found in the woods and confirmed he had heard Mack’s voice as he confronted John over his actions.

The mechanic desperately pleaded to know what he had done to Mack as Robert made a surprise arrival on the scene.
Robert’s presence overwhelmed John as Aaron tried to keep calm and encourage John to confess his crimes to the police, including Nate’s murder. John agreed to phone the police to but instead of admitting to any crime, he framed Robert.

Moments later, Robert suddenly grabbed hold of Aaron from behind and dragged him over the edge of the cliff, leaving Robert frantic as he called Aaron’s name.

Emmerdale viewers are now convinced Aaron will have survived the cliff plunge, but when he wakes up he will have no memory of the whole ordeal leaving him unable to share John’s crimes.

Taking to Facebook, one person wrote: “So what if Aaron forgets everything from the fall and he has no memory of anything…”
A second added: “If Aaron forgets everything that means they might close the story down making us keep watching for another year until Aaron remembers.”

A third chimed in: “Reckon that’s what will happen. Aaron will just get a bit of bruising [like Caleb when he was pushed off a cliff or Chloe when her car rolled down a hillside] quickly recover but won’t remember a thing.”
“To all of the people on my timeline speculating about Aaron having amnesia: PLEASE STOP, I can’t cope,” added one person on X.
“Aaron definitely will have amnesia cause only he knows every single thing John did. I like it #emmerdale,” stated another.
