EastEnders fans were thrilled on Monday evening as Ritchie Scott made a dramatic comeback to Albert Square.
The character, portrayed by Sian Webber, first graced our screens back in 2005 as Phil Mitchell’s solicitor and was last spotted in Walford on 5 September 2024.
Fast forward just over a year, and Ritchie reappeared in Albert Square on Monday night, determined to assist Zoe Slater.
In the latest episode, the Slaters were still reeling from the previous night’s events, with Jean Slater berating Kat Slater for the peril Zoe had brought upon the family.

Upon hearing the heated exchange, Zoe attempted to justify herself to Kat, Alfie, and Stacey, but it was evident that the family harboured suspicions as Zoe continued to evade revealing her past, reports OK!.

The plot thickened when DS Spencer arrived, announcing that Greg had been charged with shooting her, but Zoe would need to be questioned about his prior assault.
An incensed Zoe vehemently declared her innocence, but the police took her in for questioning nonetheless, under the watchful eyes of all, including Sharon Watts, who also made a sensational return.
Concerned for her daughter’s future, Kat sought out ex-husband Phil, pleading for his personal lawyer, Ritchie, and for him to foot the bill for her services.
Initially hesitant to summon Ritchie and cover her fees, Phil quickly changed his tune when faced with Kat’s threats.
Meanwhile, as Zoe endured a gruelling interrogation at the police station, Ritchie turned up at the crucial moment to put officers firmly in their place, resulting in Zoe’s release without any charges.

Viewers went wild over Ritchie’s comeback and her dramatically different appearance, showcasing a completely transformed hairstyle.
Flocking to Twitter, now X, one fan gushed: “The return of Ritchie Scott and her gorge new hairdo x #EastEnders.”
Another account declared: “Ritchie looks incredible. #EastEnders” whilst a fellow viewer pondered: “#EastEnders Is me or has Ritchie cut her hair short?”.
Meanwhile, one baffled soap fan questioned: “Has Ritchie been recast? ? #Eastenders” prompting another viewer to clarify: “New hair!”
