General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal a new leak confirms Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will get shot during the week of September 1-5. The promo isn’t officially out on GH’s social media accounts yet, but a copy leaked in GIF form on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Although the details aren’t entirely clear yet, Drew can be seen drinking alone when someone tries to wipe him off the map.

There’s a flash in the middle of the promo before Drew gapes in shock, so it looks like he’s taken a bullet from someone out of sight.

Of course, this lines up with everything we’ve been predicting about a big mystery with Drew at the center of it.

The show’s confirming the kickoff of that mystery with this new promo, which features some key suspects toward the end of it.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard),

Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and other enemies of Drew’s will certainly fall under suspicion.

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) also launch their crime scene investigation in the promo, so this is exciting news!

Fans have been waiting for Drew to get his comeuppance, so it’s nice to know his whodunit is finally about to get underway.

That said, there’s no confirmation yet on Drew’s status in the aftermath of this gunshot.

Drew could easily survive and land at GH in critical condition, so the cops may end up waiting for him to awaken and spill what happened.

Cameron Mathison recently replied to a fan on Instagram and claimed he wasn’t departing the show.

If Mathison was telling the truth, then it looks like Drew may live to tell the tale unless the show pulls a fast one and kills off an imposter instead.
