Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) caught the attention of newcomer Ollie in tonight’s Coronation Street, and it seems there may be some kind of mystery at play.
Ollie has been dating Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) for several weeks now, and tonight the couple joined Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) in the Bistro for some lunch.
Unfortunately, Dee-Dee seemed put off when Ollie criticised the food, complaining that the truffle oil in the pasta was too strong.
As Toyah headed off to clear the plates and grab some coffees, Ollie asked her about her name.
She explained that mum Janice had been a fan of Toyah Wilcox and named her after her, though she admitted that she was very different to her namesake.
Dee-Dee was left even more confused when Ollie complimented the vegetables as she left, pointing out that he was all over the place.

It was then that Dee-Dee made it clear that she thought Ollie had been rude, and that it was making her rethink the relationship as she had seen a different side to him.
Asking Alya and Adam’s opinions, she was surprised when they sided with Ollie, and pointed out that she may be overreacting.
When Dee-Dee refused to speak to Ollie privately about the situation, claiming that she wasn’t going to let him talk her round, Alya pointed out that she had every right to be cautious after what ex-fiance Joel Deering did, but this had clearly gone beyond being about Ollie.
Defensive, Dee-Dee reluctantly agreed to discuss it later, before heading to work with Adam and Alya.

It was then that Ollie received a mysterious phone call, which left us wondering if Dee-Dee may be right to be concerned.
Speaking to the unknown caller, Ollie told them not to worry and that he would do some digging to ‘find out what he could’.
He immediately glanced over to Toyah, who was completely oblivious as she got on with her work.
What does Ollie’s mystery caller want him to find out, and could it have something to do with Toyah?
