Eve has a big proposition…

There’s a big and exciting change ahead for EastEnders fan-favourite couple the Panesar-Unwins next week. Eve asks Suki to adopt a baby together – but will Suki say yes to her wife’s heartfelt wish? When Avani encourages downtrodden Suki to reach out to Eve, the pair agree to go for a drink at The Albert to resolve their ongoing differences. Despite a rocky start, the couple soon find common ground.
That is until Eve unexpectedly drops the bombshell that she wants to adopt a baby with Suki!
“After their groundbreaking wedding earlier this year, a Sukeve baby would be another first for the soap, as the first lesbian couple to adopt a child,” says our EastEnders source.
“Almost adopting Avani’s unborn child has made Eve realise that she wants to be a mum after all – and she wants to do it with the love of her life, Suki. For Eve, adding a baby to their relationship feels like the right next step to get them back on track.”
Later in the week, Priya spies on Suki and finds her looking up information about adoption online, leaving her horrified at the idea that Suki could be a mum again.

After Priya spills all to the family, they lay their judgement on Suki, cruelly branding her a bad mother.
“Suki’s desire to become a mum again is still a sore spot for the family, after she tried to pressure Avani into going through with her pregnancy to provide a baby for her,” recalls our insider.
“Though, the family are being quite harsh – having a baby with lovely Eve is hardly the same as raising a family with villainous Nish! Suki is in a better place now and deserves another shot at motherhood.”

After the family do their best to warn Suki away from the idea of raising another child, disheartened Suki heads round to No.31 to chat to Eve and reveal what she’s decided about their future together.
“Suki truly loves Eve, but this is a huge decision – having a child would change their whole lives,” points out our source.

“Their marriage hasn’t been on very solid ground lately, and Suki’s existing kids don’t think much of her mothering ability, so it may not be the right step right now. However, Suki just wants Eve to be happy, and to fulfil her goal of being a mum,” they continued.
As she prepares to tell Eve her choice, will Suki agree to adopt a baby with her wife – or has Eve’s baby dream ended as quickly as it began?
