Coronation Street bagged the award for Best Soap at the Inside Soap Awards
Coronation Street’s Sally Carman has sent her love for her co-star after a triumphant win at the Inside Soap Awards. More than 90,000 fans casted their votes for this year’s awards, which saw ITV’s long-running Manchester-based soap take home five trophies on Monday night.

In addition to claiming the top prize of Best Soap, Coronation Street was honoured with Best Storyline for the powerful arc surrounding Mason Radcliffe’s death and Abi Webster’s struggle with PTSD following the harrowing attack she witnessed.
While Sally Carman scooped up the award for Best Storyline, Jack P Shepherd’s portrayal of David Platt won him the award for Best Comic Performance. Vicky Myers, who plays Lisa Swain, claimed two awards for Best Actress and Best Partnership along with Alison King, who portrays Carla Connor.
Several of the Coronation Street stars took to social media to share a roundup of snaps from the fabulous evening, as they all got glammed up ready for the occasion.
Vicky Myers was among the cast to share some stunning photos from the night. She posted some professional photos from the red carpet, as well as a hilarious snap with Sally Carman, as Vicky held up her two well-deserved trophies.

The Lisa Swain star captioned the post: “Oh my goodness! What an incredible night @InsideSoapMag Awards- I still can’t quite believe it!

Vicky’s co-stars rushed to the comments to send their support. Cait Fitton, who portrays Lauren Bolton, said: “We are so lucky to have you congrats beauty xxxx.”
Sally Carman (Abi Webster) said: “So blumming proud of you!!! Love you bud.” Mollie Gallagher (Nina Lucas) also added: “Amazing” with a red love heart emoji.
Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, who plays Mandy Dingle on the Yorkshire-set soap, also sent her love to Vicky. She wrote: “Love ya and crazy proud of you.”
