Coronation Street serves up another dramatic and emotional week on the cobbles, as confirmed in our new spoiler video clips.
Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) has some advice for brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) in the wake of his split from Abi (Sally Carman), who fears that it’s only a matter of time before her affair with Carl (Jonathan Howard) is exposed.
Meanwhile, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) is devastated when he’s notified that daughter Asha (Tanisha Gorey) has been rushed to hospital after being found on a bench in Victoria Gardens.
And Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) is horrified when she discovers that Tim (Joe Duttine) is texting Trisha, a woman from his past who arrives back in his life at the beginning of next week.
That’s just a little of what’s to come on the Street and if you’d like a proper first look at the scenes in question then check out our brand new video clips.
Monday October 6
Paramedics tend to Asha in Victoria Gardens as a worried Dev, Theo and Amy watch on. The paramedics ask if Asha might have taken any drugs, which concerns Dev.
Will she be okay?
Asha, as viewers know, has been struggling after experiencing some horrific events while working as a paramedic. A difficult shift culminated in being racially abused and attacked by a woman called Naomi, which triggered panic attacks.
In an upcoming episode, it’s all too much for her and she knocks back a bottle of wine before heading out.
After she’s found in Victoria Gardens, Bernie wonders if Asha tried to take her life.
Wednesday October 8
As Debbie chats to Kevin about lawyering up in the wake of his marriage breakdown, Abi fears that Kev knows about her and Carl and thus texts her lover about her fears.
Except Carl isn’t the one she texts – it’s Kevin!
Realising what she’s done, Abi texts Carl to meet her outside the bistro. Will she be able to stop Kevin from seeing the text?
Friday October 10
Sally is taken aback to learn that Tim is texting Trisha, a woman he knew when he was younger who recently came back into his life. Tim states that they’re not having an affair, which Sally didn’t think anyway – until now.
Not pleased with the questions, Tim storms out, leaving Sally confused.
Upcoming scenes will see Tim reminisce to Brian (Peter Gunn) about the 1980s when he was with Trisha but in doing so he reveals that Trisha was almost 20, while he was only 14 at the time, which leaves Brian shocked.
