Also in the village, Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) makes a discovery about Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill), Ross Barton (Michael Parr) continues to use Lewis (Bradley Riches) to his advantage, and there’s also more trouble for Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who is questioned by a social worker.

It’s going to be a life-changing week for many and there’s so much going on.

Here’s everything you need to know about what happens next week in Emmerdale.

John is tormented by nightmares of being arrested for Nate’s murder as he and Vic prepare for his wedding to Aaron.

As Moira watches the workers begin to dredge the lake, Cain (Jeff Hordley) mentions it to John, which leaves him in a panic.

He starts packing up some things but is caught by Aaron. Curious, Aaron buys John’s lie when he says he has pre-wedding jitters. The moment Aaron leaves, John finishes packing and then drives away from the village.

As he hides by the lake, John receives a loving text from Aaron, and then learns the dredging of the lake has been put on hold. Confirming he’ll proceed with the wedding, John’s plans are thrown into chaos when Cathleen arrives and reveals Aidan is asking after him.

Meanwhile, at Home Farm, Joe and Dawn’s (Olivia Bromley) romance is derailed when a social worker arrives to follow up on a safeguarding concern. After the interviews, the social worker confirms that no further action will be needed.

After taking Lewis kayaking, Ross steals his keys and ropes Mack into stealing the rest of his cannabis plants. Mack searches Lewis’ house with no luck but just as he goes to call Ross, he stumbles across a huge cannabis farm in the loft.

Elsewhere, Sarah is troubled when she receives a call from the hospital, asking her to come and get her biopsy results.

John suffers another nightmare only this time, he sees Aidan interrupting his wedding. Back in the real world, John is concerned to hear of Aidan’s progress at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Sarah’s fears are confirmed when the consultant reveals she has the early stages of cervical cancer. Struggling to process the news, Sarah manages to cling onto a bit of positivity when the consultant confirms she might still be able to get pregnant.

Just as she leaves the office, Jacob spots Sarah and is curious. When he offers her support, Sarah can’t help but crumble and tell Jacob about her diagnosis.

At Home Farm, Joe realises he needs to put more effort into improving his relationship with Clemmie. Disaster strikes moments later though, as Joe realises the youngster has gone missing.

Back at Lewis’ house, Mack struggles to steal the entirety of the cannabis supply. Unbeknownst to Mack, Lewis has got a notification confirming that someone is in his attic. When he realises who it is, Lewis demands an explanation from Ross.

In his latest nightmare, John envisions his wedding ceremony to Aaron. Just as they’re about to get married, Aaron backs out, claiming that he doesn’t trust John.

At the Woolpack, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper), Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Vic cover for the missing grooms in front of the impatient guests. Later though, after John watches Aaron drive away from him in the hospital car park, the pair manage to reconcile and arrive at the venue.

But with Mackenzie absent, Aaron enlists Paddy (Dominic Brunt) as the best man, and the ceremony finally begins.

Elsewhere, Jacob tries to comfort Sarah about her diagnosis. When he asks about how they found the cancer, Sarah suddenly becomes shifty and hesitates to tell him about the IVF. Sarah’s disappointed by Jacob’s tepid reaction when she tells him she wants a baby, and is later shocked by his bluntness when he explains what impact losing a mum can have on any child.

Also, Lewis agrees to let Mack go from his attic on one condition – Ross tells him the truth about how his mum died.

And when Dawn refuses Billy’s idea of moving out of Home Farm, he accuses her of still having feelings for Joe.

With John and Aaron’s wedding still hanging in the balance, another secret is at risk of being exposed at Butlers, as Lewis comes closer than ever before to finding out Moira killed his mum.

Also, Jacob continues to push the narrative that Sarah is selfish for wanting a baby, but then learns he’s the only one who knows about her cancer and IVF.

At The Hide, Dawn admits to Joe that she’s exhausted by the constant battles with Billy. He comes up with a plan to try and help her, but will it work?

While Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle faces betrayal, secrets, and emotional chaos on screen, the man behind the role—Danny Miller—has never looked happier in real life. The beloved soap actor has shared a deeply moving update that has fans in tears for all the right reasons: his growing family. Just weeks after welcoming his third child, Danny took to Instagram to post a joyful holiday snap with wife Steph and their children—marking their first trip away as a family of five. Beaming from the pool with their two older kids, Albert and Edith, Danny captioned the post with simple yet powerful words: “Family: where life begins and love never ends.” It was a moment of pure contrast to the heartache unfolding for Aaron in Emmerdale. On the show, Aaron has had a turbulent 2025: still reeling from Anthony Fox’s death, navigating a tense marriage to John Sugden, and facing the emotional return of his ex-husband, Robert. Viewers know that while Aaron appears loyal to John for now, he remains dangerously unaware of John’s darkest secret—John accidentally killed Nate Robinson while trying to “save” him. It’s only a matter of time before Aaron’s world unravels again. But off-screen? Danny is basking in peace and gratitude. The actor, who made his Emmerdale debut as Aaron in 2008, has tackled countless emotionally wrenching scenes over the years—from struggles with identity to heartbreak and loss. And yet, fans say his latest real-life post shows more joy than even his happiest fictional moment. Holding his wife, with children clinging to his side and a newborn in their arms, Danny’s happiness is radiant. Just days earlier, Danny had posted a heartwarming welcome to the newest member of the family: “Welcome Vincent Miller. Born 10/07/25, Weighing 8lb 8oz. We could not be happier with our family of 5.” The video of Albert and Edith meeting their baby brother for the first time only added to the emotional impact—brother and sister walking hand-in-hand toward their mum, their eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. The response online was overwhelming. Fans flooded the comments with love: “Gorgeous wee family, it’s heartwarming to see”, one wrote. Another added, “Love watching your family grow.” And perhaps the most touching message of all came from Danny himself, just days before: “Never in my life did I think I’d find happiness of this level… so here’s a picture to describe it for me.” While Aaron Dingle may be on the verge of heartbreak, Danny Miller is living a chapter filled with love, legacy, and new beginnings. It’s a beautiful reminder that even when fiction brings tears, real life can offer peace.
