Cole Hauser Is Playing It Too Coy About His Yellowstone Spin-off

The first Yellowstone spin-off arrives in November. Fans haven’t been told much about the road ahead for Yellowstone, but this, we know, is happening. While Paramount has yet to officially announce the plan for its four (!) Yellowstone spin-off series in development outside of an earnings call with CEO Chris McCarthy last month, Dutton-heads know by now that they’ll see Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly return when the leaves turn brown this fall.

If information about the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off is news to you, then it seems as if you’re not alone. Cole Hauser—despite the fact that he’s most likely wrapped his work on the spin-off series already if it’s set to debut this November—won’t tell the press anything about it. Plus, he probably won’t until Paramount finally makes it official.

“Kelly and I, we’re focused on [Rip and Beth’s] relationship and our love together, and what we’re going to get [them] into,” Hauser vaguely described to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday. “I’m excited just like everybody else. I can’t wait to see what they come up with. Hopefully, we’ll start seeing stuff soon.”

Cole Hauser Is Playing It Too Coy About His 'Yellowstone' Spin-off

The Yellowstone spin-off is out later this year, according to McCarthy, so I would hope Hauser knows “what they come up with” for his own show. Or else, buddy, you’re not in it.

Even more confusing? No one seems to know what the spin-off is called. In his earnings call, McCarthy referred to Houser’s spin-off series as Dutton Ranch, which is the same name that Bloomberg reported in late April. Well, according to Houser, “it’s not [called] Dutton Ranch.” In an interview with Fox News for his Professional Bull Riding (PBR) appearance, the actor confirmed—without revealing the real title— that Dutton Ranch is “not the name of it.”

At this point, if we ever learn anything about this spin-off, it’ll be on the day it airs.
