Coronation Street spoilers follow from Wednesday’s episode (28 May), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Coronation Street‘s Lisa Swain becomes the keeper of a dark secret tonight as Kit Green takes revenge on evil Mick Michaelis.
Lisa, Kit and the rest of the Weatherfield police team are still in shock – and keen for justice – after their popular colleague Craig Tinker was killed by Mick in a tragic turn of events last week.
Wednesday’s episode sees Mick continue to face the consequences of his actions while being held on remand in prison.
Mick is left in a bad way after being targeted in a brutal beating in his cell. It’s not long before this incident comes back to haunt Lisa and Kit, as their boss rightly suspects that it was an inside job and wants answers.

Kit, who orchestrated the attack, makes little attempt to hide the truth in front of Lisa when she quizzes him about Mick’s injuries.
Clearly aghast, Lisa says: “It was you. Kit, you are an idiot. He will pay for [Craig’s death] – we’ve got more than enough to put him away for life.”
Kit replies: “I don’t care. He needed a taste of his own medicine. Are you saying he didn’t deserve a good kicking? Look me in the eyes and tell me that he didn’t have it coming.”

Later, Lisa confides in her partner Carla Connor with her big decision – protect Kit by saying nothing about his dark confession.
This baffles Carla, who points out Kit’s lack of loyalty towards Lisa in the past – and the obvious risk to her career if she’s caught out for keeping secrets over police corruption.
Lisa stands firm, insisting that the needless death of Craig changes everything in her eyes. But could she live to regret her pact of silence with Kit?
Coronation Street airs these scenes tonight at 8pm on ITV1. The episode is also streaming early now on ITVX.
