Sally Dynevor Opens Up On Leaving The Show!

Sally Dynevor, who has played the role of Sally Metcalfe for almost four decades, opened up about the contract process. The soap star spoke with the comedians David Williams and Matt Lucas on their podcast, Making a Scene. She said that she is only given a one-year contract, and it happens with every actor. They always worry that it might be their last one. Furthermore, no one is indispensable as there are new people and new storylines to entertain the audience.

Meanwhile, David Williams and Lucas Matt asked the soap star when the actors were informed about it. She said that it is different. Sally told them that the old actors find out between November and January if they will be asked to stay for another year.
