Dannii Minogue is returning to acting alongside two soap legends from Coronation Street and Neighbours.
The I Kissed a Boy and I Kissed a Girl host is set to star in Channel 5 series Impostor opposite Corrie‘s Kym Marsh and Neighbours‘ Jackie Woodburne.
This is Dannii’s first role since she left Home and Away behind in 1990. The singer played Emma Jackson on the Aussie soap during a two-year stint, but left to pursue her music career.
As for Impostor, the drama is set in Australia, and sees a family torn apart by betrayal and murder (via The Mirror). Woodburne, known for playing the role of Susan Kennedy on Neighbours, is to portray the family’s matriarch, Helen.
Helen refuses to sell the Victoria splashy seaside hotel she owns, despite her children pressuring her to do so.
The precarious family balance is tipped when Amanda, a secret daughter Helen had to put up for adoption decades prior, comes along, though she may not be who she says she is.
“The lucrative hotel is the ultimate prize and a twisted scheme soon spirals into betrayal and ultimately, murder,” the synopsis teases.
Minogue will also be returning for a second series of I Kissed a Girl later this year.
The actor and singer has been playing Cupid for queer men on I Kissed a Boy, the BBC’s first same-sex reality TV dating programme narrated by Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams.

The show’s all-female version, I Kissed a Girl, is narrated by TikToker and presenter Charley Marlowe.
The show sees a group of LGBTQ+ singles relocating to a dreamy Italian masseria in the hope of finding love at first kiss.
