If it is, it makes perfect sense. The Yellowstone Season 5B finale ended with Beth and Rip finally settling into a quieter life, miles away from the chaos of the Dutton ranch — quite literally. In “Life Is a Promise,” Beth buys them a working ranch 40 miles west of Dillon, Montana. The final moments of the show find the two of them, alongside Carter, laying the groundwork for a more grounded future. It’s an ending, sure — but it’s also the perfect beginning.

The ‘Yellowstone’ Empire Is Expanding
Well, guess what? Sheridan’s apparently inspired again. The follow-up project will mark the second major Yellowstone sequel in the works, following the start of production on The Madison, a separate spin-off starring Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer as a New York family attempting a fresh start in Montana. But unlike The Madison, which branches out with a whole new cast and concept, the Rip and Beth series is expected to continue the exact threads left dangling from the end of Yellowstone — and may even feature other familiar faces from the original series. We’re sure Lloyd will probably rock up at some point, too.
