EastEnders confirms major change for Howie as he commits another crime
EastEnders’ Howie Danes found himself falling further into criminality on Tuesday’s episode (23 September) in an effort to make easy money.
Back in July, Howie placed a horse racing bet with Patrick, after hearing Kim complain that he wasn’t as good at providing for her as Vincent, her ex.
In a stroke of luck, Howie and Patrick ended up winning £6,000 on their bet, ahead of Patrick and Yolande’s wedding.
But a few days later the money was stolen by Oscar Branning, with Patrick being left for dead and Howie finding him just as Oscar made his escape.

When Howie realised Oscar was the culprit he declined to go to the police, instead telling Oscar and Lauren that he’d stay quiet if they handed over the money to him.
Howie has since been on edge, knowing that Oscar could reveal his dark secret at any moment.
Last week viewers saw Howie buying a new car for Kim to help with her career as an influencer.
But things took a wrong turn on Monday when Kim ended up accidentally driving over her computer and filming equipment, after getting her first brand deal.
Faced with having to replace everything, Kim told Howie she was going to have to sell the car.
Tonight, Howie surprised Kim by getting a second job, delivering parcels on a bike, to make extra money to pay for her new equipment.
Kim was excited telling Howie he was “the best,” to which he replied: “Anything for the woman I love.”

She then added that he would have to deliver a lot of parcels because she needed “a load of money”.
Later Howie was at home sorting his parcels ahead of his first shift but, when he lifted one of them, the contents dropped out.
Howie then picked up a letter thanking a customer for the purchase of an 18k gold necklace, before finding a long box with the necklace inside.
As Kim arrived home, Howie put the necklace in his back pocket, after assuring her he’d be “raking it in” with his new job.
How much further will Howie go before his actions finally catch up with him?
