But in a surprising twist, director Matt revealed that much of this powerful scene was actually unplanned. With the team running behind schedule, Matt gave actor Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, some basic direction for the scene, but most of it was improvised, reports the Mirror.
Matt divulged: “We were about half a day behind schedule when we got to this scene and had to create an amended version of the scene in the situ. I basically asked Ryan to run in, pick Aaron up, do what comes natural and just break our hearts. And did he.”

One fan took to social media, exclaiming: “HE IMPROVISED THIS WHOLE SCENE OMG THE ACTOR YOU ARE RYAN HAWLEY.”
