Emmerdale Fans Question Whether Anthony Fox is Really Dead After Shocking Twist

Emmerdale fans are left in suspense after the recent storyline surrounding Anthony Fox’s death and the involvement of John Sugden (played by Oliver Farnworth). While John claimed to have disposed of Anthony’s body after his murder, viewers are starting to question whether Anthony is truly gone for good.

Anthony, the father of Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) and a man with a dark history, caused devastation in the village. He was revealed to have sexually assaulted Ruby in her teenage years, and it was later uncovered that he was the biological father of Steph Milligan (Georgia Jay). In January, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) had a brutal altercation with Anthony, leading to him believing he had killed him. However, the truth emerged that it was Ruby who killed her father, suffocating him with a rag.

Believing Aaron was responsible, John took it upon himself to dispose of Anthony’s body. For a while, he kept the location of the body a secret, but eventually claimed to have buried Anthony in the woods. Despite the closure the show seemed to give, fans aren’t convinced that Anthony is truly dead.

Reddit users voiced their skepticism, with one saying, “Do we think it’s over or will Anthony’s death come back to the forefront?” Another speculated that John might not be telling the truth and that Anthony could be hidden somewhere, possibly being used by John to leverage power over others in the future.

Some fans also raised the possibility that John might be holding onto Anthony’s death as a bargaining chip. “John now has something to blackmail both Aaron and Robert with,” one fan posted, referring to the video of Robert attacking John with a spanner. This new potential leverage could spell trouble for the Dingles, especially if John continues to manipulate the situation to his advantage.

Despite the compelling arguments for Anthony’s possible return, others argue that he’s truly dead, citing the fact that he had terminal cancer and would not have survived the suffocation or beating. However, the ambiguity surrounding his death is leading fans to speculate that there’s more to the story.

As the plot thickens, Emmerdale viewers eagerly await to see if Anthony Fox’s death is truly the end, or if John Sugden will continue to stir the pot, using the death as leverage for his own gain. The tension is building, and fans are on edge, waiting for the next dramatic twist!
