Real-life Coronation Street couple Sally Carman and Joe Duttine have shared snaps from their recent holiday away from the cobbles of the ITV soap.
The actors, who play Abi Webster and Tim Metcalfe respectively, enjoyed some time in the ‘Santorini sun’, as Sally revealed on Instagram.
Among the carousel of pictures were snaps of the couple enjoying the sunset, as well as good food and crystal waters.
The photos were well received by fans and co-stars alike, with countless followers leaving comments on Sally’s post.
‘Holiday sal is my fave,’ Brooke Vincent, who previously played Sophie Webster, wrote.
‘Beautiful!’ Danielle Silverton star Natalie Anderson said, while Sinead Tinker actress Katie McGlynn left a series of heart-eyes emojis.
‘Glorious,’ Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Jenny Connor, added, while Maria Connor icon Samia Longchambon agreed: ‘gorgeous every bit!’
Sally and Joe first met on set in 2017 and tied the knot in 2022 after delaying their wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rumours that they were dating began circulating in 2018, which the couple confirmed in 2019 with an announcement that they had moved in together.
In 2020, they announced their engagement, having spent lockdown together.
The couple are often jetting off on romantic getaways, giving an insight to their followers through their social media accounts.

Though they enjoy spending time together off-set, Sally has previously admitted that she’d prefer not to work with her husband.
‘I love Joe to bits, but I don’t like working with him – I’m never going to like working with him,’ she confessed to The Mirror earlier this year.
‘Bless him, we’ve got very different work processes – let’s just put it like that. I like to come fully prepared and he likes to flesh it out on the floor.
‘Also, he’s very funny. I’m such a giggler and once I’ve gone, I’m gone. It’s terrible and even if people get annoyed about it, it doesn’t help.
‘He absolutely makes me howl with laughter and he does it on purpose. I get cross with him because he knows the situation, but he can’t help himself.’

It’s a good job then that their on-screen characters have had very different storylines in recent months.
