Next week on Home and Away, things take a dark turn for Remi (Adam Rowland) as the pressure continues to mount from all sides. While acting as the producer for Kirby’s (Angelina Thomson) album, Remi finds himself struggling to juggle his commitments to both her and Avalon (Gemma Dart), a pop sensation working on her own project in the studio next door. As exhaustion sets in, his personal life begins to unravel.
A Torn Commitment
Having agreed to be featured on Avalon’s album while also working tirelessly on Kirby’s project, Remi is facing the consequences of over-committing. What started as a dream job soon became a nightmare, as Remi was caught between two worlds: recording with Kirby during the day and Avalon at night. His lack of sleep and fatigue begin to take a toll on his performance, both in the studio and in his relationship with Kirby.
Kirby, already frustrated with Remi’s tardiness and erratic behavior, learns about his late-night sessions with Avalon and becomes furious. She feels betrayed and sees Avalon as a rival, something Remi’s involvement in the project only deepens. After an emotional confrontation, Kirby initially storms off, but after a heartfelt conversation with her manager Justin (James Stewart), she decides to focus on her album, hoping Remi will follow through on his commitment.
Struggling with Exhaustion
Despite his best intentions, Remi continues to struggle with the mounting pressure. After agreeing to finish Kirby’s album and promising to put her first, Remi is caught off-guard when Avalon shows up again, encouraging him to use the small bag of powder she had slipped him earlier to push through his exhaustion. Remi is hesitant, but as his fatigue deepens, the temptation to take the easy way out grows stronger.
When Kirby finds Remi asleep on the sofa after waiting two and a half hours for him to show up to their recording session, she is crushed. Remi offers an apology, citing Avalon’s celebration as the reason for his late night, but Kirby’s patience is wearing thin. Frustrated, she takes off to clear her mind with a surf, leaving their relationship on shaky ground.
Determined to Make It Right
Remi, feeling the weight of his mistakes, decides to make things right by prioritizing Kirby and her album. He cancels his session with Avalon, books additional studio time, and takes Kirby on a journey to complete her music. His gesture softens her heart, and they begin to rebuild their partnership.
As the week progresses, the recording of Kirby’s album reaches its final stages. With Justin pushing for a launch date, Remi insists on completing the post-production work first and resists the pressure to set a launch date until the work is perfect. Kirby, Justin, and Remi celebrate the near-completion of the album at Salt, but Remi’s battle is far from over.
Avalon’s Persistent Influence
As Avalon continues to push Remi to finish her own album, she offers him another late-night session, and once again, she tempts him with the small sachet of powder. Remi, still exhausted, insists that he won’t go down that path, but Avalon’s persistence may prove difficult to resist.
Later in the week, Justin announces that he’s secured the dream venue for Kirby’s album launch, but there’s a catch—the launch must take place in just one week. Remi, already running on fumes, is stunned but agrees to get the job done if Justin gives him the space to work. However, when Kirby and Avalon approach him with the idea of recording a duet for the album, Remi is overwhelmed and initially refuses, only for Justin to convince him that it’s an incredible opportunity. Reluctantly, Remi agrees, but his exhaustion and stress continue to take a toll.
A Choice to Make
As Remi faces mounting pressure from all sides, he’s left wondering whether the small bag of powder could be the key to finishing the album. With his personal and professional life in disarray, will he make the right choice? Home and Away fans can expect even more emotional twists as Remi’s struggle between his passion for music and the toll it’s taking on his life reaches a breaking point.
