Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou has shared an end-of-year post, celebrating her family, friends, and partner James Stewart.
In an interview with Mamamia in October, Ada expressed her surprise at her feelings for James growing into more than just a friendship, with the two having played love interests Leah and Justin on Home and Away for years.
“Jimmy and I have known each other for 25 to 30 years and there were no feelings for a really, really long time. So I was shocked when I started having feelings,” Ada shared. “There was this chemistry for the first time — this spark that happened that wasn’t there before and it was weird.”
In a series of sweet snaps and collages, Ada shared some of her highlights of 2025, showing some never-seen-before pics of her relationship with James after the two confirmed they were in a relationship earlier this year after months of speculation.
“And that’s a wrap on 2024,” Ada said, with many Home and Away fans leaving supportive comments. “Looks like fun, happy new year to you both,” one person said. “Precious memories, may you have more wonderful memories in the New Year,” another commented.
“What a year, happy New year for 2025 both,” someone else remarked.

Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart’s huge year
It’s been a big year for the couple, with rumours of a romance swirling around Anzac Day in April and the two officially making their public debut as a couple at the August 2024 Logie Awards, a month after they had acknowledged their relationship.
“Going to the Logies with Ada was a big thing,” James said of the couple’s public debut, while also noting their big Home and Away storyline where their characters Leah and Justin got married. “And honestly, Leah and Justin’s wedding was one of the best storylines I’ve ever done.”
While they’ve navigated all sorts of drama on Home and Away, outside of the popular soap, the two have also had a wildly successful professional year, with James coming in fifth place for the 2024 series of Dancing With The Stars, and Ada celebrating the release of her second children’s book Mia Megastar.
