The soap stars headed to London for the Inside Soap Awards 2025
Coronation Street’s Cait Fitton has sent her love for her co-star as the cast of the ITV soap posed for the cameras at the Inside Soap Awards 2025. More than 90,000 fans casted their votes for this year’s awards, which saw ITV’s long-running soap take home five trophies on Monday night.

In addition to claiming the top prize of Best Soap, Coronation Street was honoured with Best Storyline for the powerful arc surrounding Mason Radcliffe’s death and Abi Webster’s struggle with PTSD following the harrowing attack she witnessed.

Meanwhile, Jack P Shepherd’s portrayal of David Platt scooped up best comic performance, with Vicky Myers, who plays Lisa Swain, claiming two awards for best actress and best partnership along with Alison King, who portrays Carla Connor.

Several of the Coronation Street stars took to social media to share a roundup of snaps from the fabulous evening, as they all got glammed up ready for the occasion.
Sydney Martin, who plays Betsy Swain, was among the cast to share some stunning photos from the night. Posting a photo of herself alongside her on-screen best friend Cait Fitton (Lauren Bolton), Sydney wrote: “Second family<3 and best soap!!! Makeup @sallyrowemua. Hair @so_coco_rouge. Dress @houseofcb. Thank you for a lovely night @insidesoapmagazine.”
The actress also posed for the camera with her on-screen mum Lisa Swain, as well as sharing a playful selfie with Cait Fitton and Ryan Mulvey (Brody Michaelis).

Sydney’s co-stars rushed to the comments to declare their love after her heartfelt post. Cait Fitton wrote: “I absolutely adore you !!! Proud of you always bestie.”
Sally Carman (Abi Webster) said: “LOVE” with several emojis. Amy Robbins (Christina Boyd) added: “FABULOUS!! So well done”

It’s been a busy year for Coronation Street with some well-deserved wins. They missed out on any prizes at the National Television Awards last month, when EastEnders took home the award for best soap. But they seem to have made up for any losses at the Inside Soap Awards this week.
Sydney Martin has been at the centre of the drama on the soap in recent weeks following the dramatic return of her “dead” mum Becky Swain. Lisa had the shock of a lifetime when the wife she thought had been dead for the last four years turned up in her living room.
The next few weeks will see Lisa and Betsy come to terms with their new family member, while juggling Lisa’s new-found love with Carla Connor.

Becky has arrived just in time to shake things up on the cobbles. Lisa and Carla recently got engaged in heartfelt scenes which had viewers “sobbing”.
The police detective finally popped the all-important question to the Underworld boss after months of waiting. The couple recently purchased a house in Weatherfield, making history as the first same-sex couple to do so.
