The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will be facing one of the most difficult decisions of her life when it comes to Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). With the twisted killer expected to wake up soon, Li is torn between protecting Luna from the law and turning her in for the shooting that nearly cost Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) his life. While it seems that Li will eventually decide to turn Luna in, she’s determined to first “fix” Luna, trying to undo the damage caused by Penelope ‘Poppy’ Nozawa (Romy Park) in raising her.

Li’s struggle will be complicated by the fact that an unexpected hero may step in to shield Luna from facing charges for the crime she committed. However, no matter what path Li chooses, she will have a tough time convincing John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that saving Luna’s life was the right decision, given the danger Luna posed to Steffy and the Forrester family.

Li’s tough spot deepens when Poppy expresses relief upon hearing that Luna had died, a reaction that leaves Li emotionally shattered. The unexpected relief Poppy felt that her own daughter was gone forces Li to act quickly and fake Luna’s death to save her. Li is struggling with the notion of how to protect her son’s family, knowing full well that Luna tried to kill Steffy twice, and if not for Liam’s heroic actions, Steffy could very well be dead. Despite this, Li believes Luna is worth saving, thinking that if Luna had been loved and cherished, she might not have turned into the monster everyone perceives her to be. Li feels that Poppy’s neglectful parenting is what turned Luna into a killer.

Eventually, Li will come to the painful realization that the only way Luna can reclaim her life and begin to heal is by facing the consequences of her actions. While Luna may not want this, knowing it could result in prison time or another trial, Li understands it’s the only way to move forward.

However, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will hear about Luna’s situation and, moved by sympathy, will step in to help. He may use his influence and wealth to keep Luna out of jail. Bill understands Luna’s need for unconditional love, something she never received from her mother, and he feels a connection to her despite her past actions. Bill also recognizes that Finn may never be able to give Luna the love she needs, especially with Steffy’s feelings about Luna standing in the way.

With things getting increasingly messy for Li, fans will be left wondering how this dilemma will affect the Forrester family dynamics. Will Bill’s intervention be enough to save Luna, or will Li’s decision to protect her daughter cause even more upheaval?
