The Bold and the Beautiful Wednesday, June 5 Recap: Bill Confirmed as Luna’s Bio Dad – Poppy Asks Forgiveness

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 5, reveals that the DNA test Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) administered was conclusive and proved Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) father.

Li, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), Bill and Luna saw the two stripes for themselves, so they all reacted to the news.

Bill was overwhelmed with joy – and Luna assured Bill that she was thrilled, too.

Li acknowledged that Poppy wasn’t lying and snapped about her getting what she always wanted: a very rich man.

Poppy asked if Li was really so bitter that she couldn’t even be a little happy for them.

After Bill thanked Li for administering the test, he thought it was time for her to leave.

Once Li insisted she just wanted to make sure for Luna’s sake and everyone else’s, she took off.

Bill had his first official family hug with Luna and Poppy, so they had a sweet celebration together.

Poppy just hoped that Bill and Luna could forgive her for keeping them apart, but Bill blamed himself for disappearing on Poppy.

Luna didn’t want Poppy to feel guilty and ruin this special moment since she’d been waiting for this her entire life.

Poppy had never felt so much love now that she was looking at her precious daughter with her father – though she noted that Bill didn’t have to say it back.

However, Bill suggested it was impossible not to love Poppy for bringing this beautiful and accomplished young woman into his life.

At Forrester Creations on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Li confirmed to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) that Bill really was Luna’s father based on the DNA test results.

Meanwhile, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thought maybe Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) could pitch in now that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wanted to take a step back from his day-to-day duties, but Carter was too busy being COO.

At the Forrester mansion, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) continued pushing Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to take charge at Forrester Creations and remind people what she was capable of.

Ridge arrived and grew curious about the conversation he walked in on, but Hope ultimately shifted gears and thanked him for saving her line.

After Hope vowed to prove Ridge was right and show him how valuable the Logan influence could be, Ridge asked to speak with Brooke alone.

Once Hope exited, she returned to Forrester Creations and complained about Steffy kicking Brooke out of the meeting earlier.

Steffy acted like Brooke’s influence at the company was a thing of the past, but Hope made a prediction about Brooke finding her way back and said the Logans were there to stay!

Back with Ridge, he told Brooke about wanting more time to focus on designing couture since that was his passion.

Ridge would still be around, but Steffy needed someone to step up and help her run things.

After Ridge hinted about having someone in mind, he said this was the only person qualified, capable and respected by everyone in the building.

Brooke realized Ridge meant her as he asked for her help leading Forrester Creations into the future, so she seemed shocked and delighted over the offer.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will finish giving Brooke updates on his proposal and await her answer, but it certainly looks like she’ll be all for it!
