Days of Our Lives’ Paul Telfer opened up about how it’s taking Xander some time to realize Sarah’s been keeping something from him.

Sarah’s been caught in a quandary on because she was afraid Xander would kill his brother. Xander recently learned the truth, but hasn’t harmed Philip just yet. Several people knew Sarah knew, but they’ve kept her involvement a secret so it wouldn’t blow up her marriage to Xander. Xander’s real-world alter ego, Paul Telfer, opened up about what could happen once the truth is revealed.

Sarah’s Okay With Certain Lies

In a discussion with , Telfer was asked about Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) being okay with Philip’s lie and trying to quell Xander’s anger toward his brother. He stated, “Sarah’s like, ‘That’s fine. You can keep lying. Some lies are okay,’ ” noting that the stance is very un-Sarah-like.

He further noted that her stance is just one of many red flags that Xander is currently oblivious to. Sarah’s just been hanging on for dear life as the lie has pulled her further and further in. Her actions clearly go against her better nature, but Telfer remarked that, “Xander is just not ready to perceive or even acknowledge [that] yet.”

Sarah’s been acting squirrelly around him whenever Philip is brought into the conversation, so it’s only a matter of time before Xander realizes she knows more than she’s letting on. Telfer was asked what he thought would be the outcome when Xander finally puts the pieces together. “The evidence against Sarah—or the case against her—is going to be kind of monumental,” he remarked.

He explained that Sarah’s knowledge of Philip’s deception will eventually make sense to Xander. The actor acknowledged that if Sarah’s secret keeps going on, there will be more trouble in their relationship because she had many chances to reveal the truth to him, but chose not to.

Will Xander lose his mind and have a conniption, or will Sarah be able to explain her actions? Only time will tell.
