Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is hard at work on her computer. Does this have to do with planning Nikki’s birthday party, or is it really about something else?Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has arrived and is looking a bit defensive while speaking with Victoria. Is her daughter putting Nikki on the hot seat about something involving Victor? Victoria is worried that her father is planning to come between Claire and Kyle, and she isn’t wrong.A nervous Diane (Susan Walters, l.) welcomes Traci (Beth Maitland) home. Traci is seeing for the first time the renovations her sister-in-law spearheaded at the Abbott mansion. Jack loves what Diane did with the place, while Billy isn’t as happy with the changes. How will Traci react? Both ladies are smiling, so that’s a good sign that Traci likes the changes. At the very least, Traci can usually be counted on to be the Abbott who is most sensitive to other people’s feelings. Traci knows how much Diane wants her to like and appreciate all that she has done to make the place feel safe.Nothing makes Jack (Peter Bergman) happier than having his younger sister back home – and seeing her get along with his wife. If Jack has his way, the entire family will be back living full time in the mansion they grew up in. While the renovations are top of mind for Diane, Jack has to be wondering how Traci is doing after the ordeal she experienced at the hands of her former fiancé. Traci loved and trusted Alan, not realizing he was actually his evil twin, Martin. She went to New York with Ashley, hoping to come to some sort of peace about it. He has to be wondering if she has found that peace.Jack and Diane are distracted by something happening in the room. What – or who – has captured their attention? Harrison (Redding Munsell) is there with his grandparents! Kyle (Michael Mealor) has left the room, so Grandpa Jack and his DiDi are there to talk with the young boy about his day.Jack also spends part of his day talking with Nick (Joshua Morrow). You can bet Nick’s father, Victor, is the main topic of conversation. Now that Michael has quit working for The Mustache, there are no checks on Victor’s behavior, and it’s no secret that he’s gunning for Jack once again.
