Jack supports his decision but isn’t sold on Sally being the replacement. He sees it as trading one potential problem for another.
Billy doesn’t see why his brother would have a problem with Sally joining him at Abbott Communications.
Jack knows she is successful in fashion.
Billy says he trusts Sally and is confident in her abilities. He wonders what the difference is between Diane working at Jabot with Jack and Sally working at Abbott Communications with him.
Jack knows Billy is making a fair point.
Billy assures Jack that Sally will prove everyone wrong just as Diane did.
Jack warns that working together adds pressure to a relationship.
Billy senses Jack is upset about what he said to Diane about the house refresh.
Jack says he isn’t that petty.
Billy says he was just being honest with Diane. He’s sorry if he insulted her.
Jack wants to know what Billy doesn’t like about the refresh.
Billy says the feeling of the house was off to him. He doesn’t have the memories his siblings have, and the house was his only real connection to their father.
Jack hates how Billy is struggling with this.
Billy wonders if Jack truly likes the changes or if he’s just agreeing with his wife.
Jack didn’t lie to Diane about the refresh. He really loves what she did with the place.
Billy can’t get past the sad feeling and can’t get passed the smell of new paint.
Jack tells Billy that their father travels with them in their hearts.
Billy insists he will get there in time. He did not mean to offend Diane. He’s planning the press launch.
Jack is excited and wants to see his brother succeed. He wonders if Billy has heard anything else from Dumas.
Billy is supposed to meet with Dumas, but his office keeps delaying.
Jack reminds Billy that Dumas comes with serious strings attached.
Bily insists that Abbott Communications is his priority. He can’t believe his brother doesn’t include Nikki as being in the same category as Victor!
Jack says Nikki may have benefited, but she didn’t make the decisions.
Billy doesn’t believe she is so innocent.
Jack admits he could be infuriated with her if he allowed himself to be. He advises the promise of revenge is not worth getting sucked into another battle with Victor.
Billy reminds Jack that he never backs away from a fight with Victor and wonders why he should.
Chelsea is excited to start but feels guilty about leaving Marchetti.
Adam says they will wipe the floor with Abbott Communications.
Chelsea doesn’t want things to get dirty but fears they already have.
Admits assures Chelsea that her instincts are not wrong, and things could get volatile.
Chelsea says that is what she is afraid of.
Adam reminds her that this is all about business, and Billy chose to enter the media field.
Chelsea only wants civility. She says if the idea of doing “good” is completely off the table, they have a problem.
Adam is all for doing good, but thinks Billy is ready to take the high road.
Chelsea senses that Adam is relishing the thought of a battle with Billy.
Adam suggests they concentrate on Newman Media.
Chelsea wants assurance that Newman Media isn’t a tool to be used by his family to grind axes.
Victor enters and sees that Chelsea is keeping Adam on his toes.
Adam hopes his father isn’t there to check up on them already.
Victor only wants to welcome Chelsea to Newman Media.
Chelsea leaves to check out her office again.
Victor suggests this is going to require some diplomacy on his part because he knows they will use Newman Media to go after their enemies.
Adam is aware.
Victor puts Dumas at the top of the list.
Victor wants to stay a step ahead of Dumas. He wants to run a campaign about how strong Chancellor is under Nikki as compared to Billy.
Adam believes Billy is old news.
Victor tells him how Dumas plans to meet with Billy.
Adam doesn’t have an issue showcasing Billy’s incompetence, but he knows Chelsea won’t like it one bit.
Victor says Billy must be taught a lesson.
Adam says he will handle Chelsea.
Victor leaves, and Chelsea rejoins Adam.
Adam doesn’t want to lie to her. He tells her about Dumas and Billy. He knows they are about to have their first professional disagreement.
Damian joins Lily and updates her on Amy’s treatment and how well it’s going.
Lily is glad to hear the news.
Damian informs her that he sent word to Dumas. He wants to know why and exactly what she’s after.
Lily suggests Damian tell Dumas she wants to know what he’s after. If he wants her family company, he can tell her to her face instead of hiding behind Damian.
Damian tells her that Dumas may be one of the few men unsusceptible to her charms.
Lily thinks she can deal with that. She only wants him to know she is a formidable opponent.
Damian wonders what if Lily is wrong about his intentions.
Lily agrees she has no proof beyond Victor’s warning.
Damian believes he’s just blowing smoke.
Lily won’t take any risks when it comes to Winters. She says that Damian working for Dumas makes it hard for her to trust him. She wonders if it would be best if he didn’t.
Damian can’t believe she’s asking him to quit his job.
Lily doesn’t see an issue with him quitting, and he can get a salary anywhere.
Damian wonders what he would do if he walked away from Dumas.
Lily says there are other areas, possibly something at Winters.
Damian thinks Lily wants to keep her enemies close.
Lily doesn’t see Damian as an enemy and isn’t trying to lure him into her clutches.
Damian reminds Lily that he is her only access to Dumas.
Lily says he can scratch all that and wants to know if he’s ready to make a move.
Damian says it’s not the worst idea he’s ever heard, but he needs to know exactly what Winters is willing to offer.
Lily is sure they could work something out.
Nate can’t forget the bogus ploy that brought him to town.
Lily says he can go on and forget her offer.
Lily doesn’t want to waste time if he’s not interested.
Damian says he hasn’t ruled it out. He wonders what’s really in it for him to gain Lily and Devon’s trust.
Lily knows that Damian wants her to trust him because he’s attracted to her.
Damian wonders if she wants to see where “this” could go with them.
Lily leaves and tells him she will get back to him with an offer.
