What is Next for Summer?

Phyllis is thrilled that her daughter is happy and getting to know a man who could be the solution to all of her problems. Who wouldn’t want an Italian Adonis to eat, pray, and love with?

Nick is also happy for Summer but as a dad he intones that the guy better be good to his super girl. We don’t have lots of details but we now know that Summer is spending time with a hunky tall, dark, and handsome man. Are we seeing the future for Summer, either in Italy or back in GC? Definitely maybe!

Will Summer Return to GC?

If the show keeps Summer off the canvas, it would be convenient to say that she’s hard at work in Milan, and not alone. Or, the show could decide to bring her and Adonis back to Wisconsin where he would have culture shock.

At this point it is fun speculating as to what Summer will do next, since the character is never boring. Maybe we will see Summer divide her time between Milan and GC?

Summer’s absence comes at a time when her ex and cousin are growing their relationship. Summer has not reacted well to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) getting closer.

Will Summer Stay Away From Genoa City?

Summer’s absence will allow Klaire to move forward without her side eye. And, if she finds someone of her own to keep her company, they are off the hook from having to deal with her jealousy.

Still, Klaire have mountains to climb since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is dead set on 86ing her union. This includes his underhanded breakup plan put in motion with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Should Summer Leave Klaire Alone?

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Summer stays in touch with Phyllis who we predict will pass along info on how Summer is doing offscreen. Tell us Y&R fans, what do you want to see happen with the character of Summer Newman?
